Back in 2008, TI Automotive invested into the know-how and technology of our then still young company. promeos® supplied the first heating system equipped its flameless burners, for heating polyamide pipes in the extrusion process.
Today, 13 years later, all extrusion lines worldwide are equipped with promeos® technology. In addition to the extremely energy-efficient burner technology, which utilizes inexpensive (also green) gas and achieves significant cost and energy savings, the high level of digitization and automation enables very stable and precise process control. For example, the measurement and monitoring of the tube temperature realized by combination of point and IR camera systems ensures minimal scrap and eliminates the need for time-consuming readjustment of the system when changing products.
