We are excited to announce the successful installation of our advanced hybrid galvanizing furnace at Wiegel GmbH foundry! The homogeneity in heating processes is crucial for both energy efficiency and furnace longevity. Traditional heating methods often suffer from inefficiency and lifespan issues due to hot spots. Heatelligent® technologies set a new benchmark for excellence.
Under the expert leadership of our project manager, Volkan Genc, promeos® is proud to introduce the first hybrid furnace (electric + gas heated) for the hot-dip galvanization process. Our line type flameless burners offer a superior solution, providing low-velocity convective heat that flows parallel to the body of the furnace, ensuring a smart and homogeneous heat transfer process. This innovation has proven to reduce gas consumption by over 25% and extends furnace life by eliminating hot spots.
The installation process was incredibly challenging due to the massive size of the furnace. It required two cranes to lift and position it with millimeter precision. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the Wiegel team, we achieved this goal with outstanding accuracy.
