CO2peration successful. Expectations exceeded – energy savings higher than expected!
Since autumn 2020, Reinhard Tweer GmbH has been saving twice: Two promeos® ladle heaters went into operation at the Bielefeld site of the family-owned company. Since then, they have been used in the steel foundry to preheat transport and casting ladles for liquid metal.
In addition to the numerous quality advantages with regard to the work result with a homogeneous preheating of transport and casting ladles, the high energy efficiency of the promeos® systems is particularly convincing after the first year in operation: According to Guido Sommer, the head of management for quality and energy the expected energy savings have even been exceeded:
