Together, they have implemented a cutting-edge energy solution that turns unavoidable waste into clean process heat—delivering both environmental and operational excellence.

The Technical Solution: Closed-Loop Energy for Continuous Operation

The plant integrates perfectly coordinated systems: a 1.4 MW double-fired gasifier from AHT, which converts approximately 400 kg of uncontaminated waste wood A1/A2 per hour—mainly from on-site packaging waste—into high-quality syngas.
This gas is burned efficiently and with low emissions in special, flameless promeos® burners. The modular combustion systems were specifically developed for use with wood gas and can be integrated into any thermal processing or furnace system.

MONTA seamlessly integrated the entire system into the existing infrastructure—including fully automated control, efficient waste heat utilization, and natural gas backup for peak loads.
The heat generated from wood gas supplies two powder coating lines with a continuous heat demand of approximately 1 MW; an additional 100 kW of waste heat is fed into the site’s hot water circuit.
The entire project was completed within 12 months—from planning to commissioning.
