From Filling to Stable Dosing
The molten aluminum is charged from a transport ladle into the dosing furnace. The furnace maintains the melt at a specified temperature and meters the programmed quantity through the riser using controlled air pressure. An optional electric channel heater maintains a stable temperature between the furnace and the casting chamber.
Thermal Architecture
Select the Appropriate Thermal Configuration
Pressure-Controlled Dosing forms the foundation of the system. Direct Melt Heating further improves melt temperature uniformity. In addition, Electric Launder Heating maintains a stable melt temperature throughout the transfer process.
Optional Direct Heating of the Melt
Improving Melt Temperature Uniformity
The standard dosing furnace heats the melt from above. The optional direct heating system delivers heat directly into the aluminum melt into the aluminum bath, creating a more uniform temperature distribution within the melt.
